ROCKLAND, Maine — Two people were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon in a head-on crash.

A 2013 Chevy Malibu was heading west on Route 90 at about 4:45 p.m. when driver Judith Harrington, 42, of Warren attempted to make a left turn into the parking lot of Prince’s Furniture, said Rockland police Sgt. Tony Camporiale. She turned into the path of an eastbound 1999 Chevy Tahoe driven by Henry Crowell, 58, of Georgia.

Crowell broke his left ankle, the sergeant said. There were two passengers in his vehicle. He and his wife were taken to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport to be checked on. Camporiale said Crowell’s wife did not appear to be injured but she was shaken up from the incident.

Both vehicles were destroyed. No one was cited in the crash, Camporiale said.
