Remember a couple weeks ago when we posted that Kickstarter for a drone fish finder?

I thought that was bad enough (seriously: Who needs a robot to cast your line for you?)

Well, here’s another product for anyone too lazy to actually fish: It’s a bobber that tells your phone when you get a strike.

That’s right. In case pointing your eyes at an object is too much work, you can now wait for your phone to chirp when you have a fish on.

I really thought this might be a gag, but it looks like you can actually pre-order one of these for $40 from gearbest.com, a Chinese gadget retailer.

I’m burning all my earthly possessions and walking into the woods now with nothing but a Tenkara rod.
