BANGOR — Husson Athletics will hold its fourth annual Husson Eagles Golf Outing June 26 at Bangor Municipal Golf Course. BUCKSPORT — The 40th running of the Tour Du Lac, founded by local runners Steve and Anne Norton, will begin with registration at 6:30 a.m. and race starting at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27. The race encircles Silver Lake starting at the Bucksport Town Pool, heads up Central Street, onto Millvale Road then the Charlie Cole road, left on Silver Lake and finishing at the Town Pool. PORTLAND — The 43rd annual MTA Championships will be held July 10-12, at the Fore River (Waynflete) Tennis Complex. The event is sanctioned as a major outdoor tournament by the Maine Tennis Association. ORRINGTON — The Bangor YMCA will host its annual Tri for the Y Sprint Triathlon, 8 a.m.-noon, July 19, beginning at Brewer Lake boat launch, to raise funds for Bangor Y. It is a USA Triathlon-sanctioned event. Triathletes will swim 750 meters in Brewer Lake, enjoy the beautiful out-and-back course through Orrington in the 12.4-mile bike, and enjoy the views from the shores of Brewer Lake in the 3.1-mile run. ORONO — The third annual University of Maine Black Bear Wrestling Tournament will be held Sunday, July 19, at the UMaine New Balance Student Recreation Center.
