HERMON, Maine — Winterport’s Ryan Deane drove under early leader Wayne Parritt Jr. of Steuben on the 13th lap of the 40-lap Dysart’s Late Model feature and continued to lead until the checkered flag fell Saturday night at Speedway 95.
The only threat to Deane’s victory in his second appearance of the season came on lap 32 when the yellow flag came out for an incident involving Andrew McLaughlin and Donny Blanchard which resulted in Blanchard spinning off turn one and requiring a tow back to the pits. Deane lined up against Brenton Parritt of Steuben for the restart, but was able to hold off the former champion for the final eight laps to take his first win of the season.
Brenton Parritt finished in second, right on Deane’s bumper, with Bradley’s Deane Smart in third. Wayne Parritt Jr. finished fourth with Milo’s Nick Jenkins rounding out the top five.
