ORRINGTON, Maine — A bald eagle has returned to the wild.
Mary Bird, transport volunteer with Avian Haven, and Maine Game Warden Dave Georgia Jr. worked together to release a mature bald eagle Thursday at the Orrington Picnic Park in Orrington.
The eagle was discovered a few weeks ago by Georgia and was rehabilitated back to health by Avian Haven in Freedom.
