MADISON, Maine — Joe Archambault recorded a home run, double and two singles to propel the Acadians by the Madison RTD 39ers 10-7 in Zone 1 American Legion action Sunday at the Madison High School field.

Garrison Looke chipped in with a double and two singles for the Acadians (4-4). Thomas Paolo added two singles.

D.J. Allen hit a home run and a double to lead the 39ers (2-4). Chase Nelson added two doubles and Dallon Stevens contributed two singles and two RBIs.

At Thomas College in Waterville, Ethan Stoddard recorded three hits while Jackson Coutts, Sam Southwick and Ryan Ward each chipped in with a hit and an RBI to help Motor City of Bangor hold off Post 51 of Oakland.

Cody Collins earned the victory for Motor City after going the first five innings and allowing two runs and two hits while striking out four and walking five. Ryan Jurgewich came on to surrender two runs and a hit over 3 ⅓ innings while walking one and striking out one before Tommy Burns retired the last two batters to record a save.

Tyler Young added two hits for Motor City.
Dylan Napworth had a hit and an RBI for Post 51.

At Bordick Park in Hampden, the RH Foster’s Hampden Riverdogs held on to win a slugfest against Midcoast.

Ben Huston doubled and singled while Connor Farmer and Jordan Dysart each had two singles to lead the Riverdogs. Michael Turner added a triple and three runs scored while Jackson Gilmore doubled. Billy Campbell picked up the pitching win in relief and Zach Nash earned a save.

Oliver Brown and Jacob Bartlett each recorded a double and single to lead Midcoast while Titus Kaewthong contributed two singles.

At Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft, Peter Kemble struck out 11 and allowed just one earned run and four hits in eight innings to lead Coffee News of Bangor by Penquis.

Trevor DeLaite recorded four singles while Ben Crichton and Ryan Brookings each added three singles to lead Coffee News (6-3). Sam Huston, Kyle Stevenson, and Marcus McCue each singled twice.

Brooks Law had an RBI double and Aron Smested and Billy Brock recorded doubles for Penquis (1-8).
