SKOWHEGAN, Maine — A local man was arrested on Sunday after admitting to police he had broken into a shed at the Skowhegan Recreation Center.
According to a posting on the Skowhegan Police Department’s Facebook page, Deputy Chief Don Bolduc was on patrol on Saturday when Andrew Flagg approached him and admitted to the crime.
Flagg allegedly had also smashed up items using a golf club, according to the posting.
On Sunday, police interviewed Flagg and arrested him and transported him to Somerset County Jail, the posting said. He was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
