MADAWASKA, Maine — A Connecticut man was arrested and charged by the Madawaska Police Department with a number of thefts from motor vehicles late Friday evening, police said in a written statement.
Alexander Nadeau, 20, of Willington, Connecticut, was arrested and charged in connection with thefts from 13 motor vehicles and a burglary that took place early Friday morning.
The burglary is a felony offense.
The case remains under investigation and police said more charges could be forthcoming.
Police also thanked the public for the tips they received to aid in the investigation and reminded community members to keep their vehicles locked at all times.
