BANGOR, Maine — No serious injuries were reported early Friday, when a street sweeper overturned on Stillwater Avenue, according to a posting on the Bangor Police Department’s Facebook page.
The operator was not seriously injured, but the driver, whose identity was not disclosed, was suspected of consuming alcohol before the incident, according to the posting.
“Our suggestion is that in the future, if you are doing some cleanup, either avoid the liquor or use a really big broom,” the posting read.
No other information was immediately available.
