BAR HARBOR, Maine — Two people were arrested on warrants following a traffic stop Sunday morning in Bar Harbor.
Police said Ernest Morse, 30, of Lamoine was arrested on warrants for two different assaults and an unpaid fine.
Brandy Abbott, 32, of Buxton was arrested for failing to appear at Biddeford District Court, police said.
The traffic stop took place around 1 a.m. on Route 3, police said. The vehicle Morse and Abbott were in was stopped for having false plates attached.
Morse was also cited for attaching false plates and operating a motor vehicle after a suspension, police said.
