PORTLAND, Maine — The Portland Sea Dogs completed a four-game sweep of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats with a 7-2 Eastern League baseball win Sunday afternoon at Hadlock Field.

Portland wraps up its best homestand of the season, winning six of seven and completing its first series sweep of the year. The four-game sweep at Hadlock Field is the first for the Sea Dogs since September of 2010.

Just two days removed from their season-high 21 hit output, the Sea Dogs offense got going again and bashed 14 hits in the win. Manuel Margot went 3-for-5 with a triple, RBI, stolen base, and two runs scored. Aneury Tavarez hit his third home run of the season while Tim Roberson, Mike Miller, and Carlos Asuaje each had two hits apiece.

Justin Haley (4-11) earned the victory for the Sea Dogs, allowing two earned runs on six hits in five innings. Heri Quevedo worked two scoreless innings in relief and struck out four, and Jorge Marban closed out the game with two scoreless innings of relief.
