BRUNSWICK, Maine — Detectives have tentatively identified an adult male whose body was found Tuesday morning in the New Meadows River.
The body was found about 100 yards upriver from the Sawyer Park boat ramp.
Brunswick Police Commander Marc Hagan said detectives found identification on the body and would confirm identification before releasing the name. The body was reported at 9:41 a.m. by a person walking through the park.
“There’s nothing that stands out as being suspicious,” Hagan said.
