GRAY, Maine — With temperatures warming up throughout the state Tuesday, more strong thunderstorms are in the forecast, according to the National Weather Service.

Strong thunderstorms were expected to move through southern Franklin County on Tuesday afternoon, with pea-sized hail and wind gusts of up to 45 mph expected.

According to the weather service, the storms were expected to impact the Farmington area.

Thunderstorms were expected throughout the state Tuesday afternoon and into the evening hours.
