WISCASSET, Maine — A 37-year-old Texas man remained at Two Bridge Regional Jail in Wiscasset on Tuesday afternoon, charged with felony unlawful sexual contact with a child on Westport Island in 2010.
Stacy Parker of Little Elm, Texas, was arrested by the Little Elm Police Department on July 1 on a warrant from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release from Lt. Michael Murphy of the sheriff’s office.
Parker is charged with Class B felony unlawful sexual contact, a crime police say occurred over an extended period in 2010. Parker was a friend of the family of the alleged victim, who was 7 years old at the time.
Parker was extradited from Texas and is being held on $25,000 cash bail pending a Sept. 14 appearance at Lincoln County Superior Court.
