ROCKPORT, Maine — Rockport police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who is suspected of stealing something from a parked vehicle.
The incident occurred at about noon Wednesday at Marine Park. Photos provided by police, taken from a video camera, show the woman walking a white dog. The woman is suspected of stealing something from a car and then leaving in a newer model, black Ford sport utility vehicle.
Anyone who recognizes the woman or vehicle, call Rockport police at 236-2027 and ask for Administrative Assistant Craig Cooley or Officer Cooper Plaisted.
Police did not want to reveal further details on the suspected theft.
