BANGOR — As part of the The Weekly’s observation of its 25th anniversary year, Darling’s Ice Cream for a Cause truck will be parked 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, outside Bangor Daily News, 1 Merchant’s Plaza, downtown Bangor.
The ice cream is free, but donations will be accepted to benefit the Bangor Humane Society which works to provide dogs, cats and other small animals with loving homes.
Ice Cream for a Cause has raised $112,000 for more than 500 charities since its inception in 2015.
