FREEPORT, Maine — Police continue to search for a man who robbed the Norway Savings Bank at gunpoint on Monday.
On Wednesday, police released a pair of surveillance images of the suspect to local media, and are asking anybody who may have seen the man in the area of Mallett Drive and Main Street on Monday afternoon to contact Detective Gino Bianchini at 865-4800.
The lone robber fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash following the robbery, during which nobody was hurt.
The suspect brandished his weapon to a teller before demanding cash and fleeing.
