Bangor

BANGOR — The first practice for Bangor High School boys and girls cross country will be held on Monday, Aug. 17, at the Bangor High tennis courts from 3-4:45 p.m. Contact coach Adam Goode at 991-7000 or Bangor High School for more information.

CORINTH — Central High School will be holding its mandatory sports information night for parents on Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. in the Central High School gym. Foxcroft Academy

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Preseason practices begin on Monday, Aug. 17 when all freshmen, juniors and new students must have proof of a physical exam. Physicals will be offered at the school at 6 p.m. Aug. 10 for $10. ORONO — Fall sports information night, 6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 16; individual sport breakout sessions will follow. HOWLAND — Penobscot Valley High School will hold its annual fall meeting for parents, players and coaches at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11 in the school’s study hall.
