SACO, Maine — A Biddeford man is facing a drug charge after heroin, cocaine and other drugs were found during a traffic stop, according to police.
A vehicle in which Kyree Council, 26, was a passenger in was pulled over shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday because of a broken headlight, according to Saco Deputy Chief Jeffrey Holland.
Council did not have identification when asked for it, and a check of his name revealed he was on probation with conditions to search him for drugs, Holland said.
Council was removed from the vehicle, and police located a small bag containing oxycodone and penicillin. Approximately 22.1 grams of heroin and 4 grams of cocaine later were found in Council’s possession.
Council was charged with aggravated drug trafficking and taken to the York County Jail, where bail was set at $25,000. The driver of the car was not charged.
