SWAN’S ISLAND, Maine — A missing kayaker has been found safely near Swan’s Island, the U.S. Coast Guard confirmed Wednesday morning.
Jackson Day, 18, was reported missing Tuesday night, according to Ross Ruddell, a public affairs specialist for the U.S. Coast Guard.
Ruddell said Day was found paddling back from Swan’s Island. Day spent the night on one of the nearby island because of weather.
Day had no visible injuries, according to Ruddell.
No other information was immediately available.
