SACO, Maine — City police are searching for a man who attempted to rob Little Caesers Pizza on Main Street Tuesday.
Saco Deputy Chief Jeffrey Holland said the suspect, a white male, fled on foot toward Kerryman Restaurant after leaving the pizzeria.
It was not disclosed whether the man got away with any cash.
The robber stands about six feet tall, is skinny with scruffy facial hair and was wearing a light-colored baseball cap, a white shirt covered by a dark-green zippered fleece, gray wind pants and white sneakers.
Saco police tracked the robber with a canine as far as Thornton Academy before the track went cold, Holland said.
