HERMON, Maine — After losing a hard fought battle for the win in his Sportsman car Saturday night, Steve Kimball of Holden was on the winning end of a good race in the RoadRunner feature at Speedway 95 on Wednesday night.

Kimball started seventh in the 38-car field, ran in the top five throughout and finally got past Skowhegan’s Kris Matchett on lap 18 of the 20-lap feature. Matchett had led for most of the race.

Anthony Miles of Winterport snuck by Matchett to take second place and Matchett recovered to finish third, with Travis Beale of Hampden and Dustan Durrell of Newburgh rounding out the top five.
