WATERVILLE, Maine — For the second time this week, Waterville police broke up a party at a Water Street residence and charged the tenant with supplying a place for minors to consume alcohol.
Kailynn Depesa, 30, who had allegedly hosted a party at the residence that had been broken up early Monday morning, apparently didn’t get the message as loud noise prompted a neighbor to call police around 9 p.m. Tuesday, Waterville Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey said.
Three underage drinkers, Aaliyah Gagliardi, 20, and Ashlyn Laliberte, 19, both of Canaan, and a 16-year-old boy from Winslow, were all charged with possession of alcohol by a minor, Rumsey said.
Gagliardi had been arrested in Monday’s incident when she allegedly slapped away an officer’s hand while trying to leave the residence.
Depesa was charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol, Rumsey said. The deputy chief added neighbors have been fed up with the disturbances and police plan on contacting the apartment’s landlord.
Police have responded to the Water Street apartment about 10 times over the last year, Rumsey said.
