GREENE, Maine — The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning armed robbery at the Circle K Irving on Route 202 in Greene.

Police said two suspects armed with a golf club driver and an aluminum baseball bat entered the Circle K around 3:20 a.m. Sunday and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Suspect one was described as a white male, 5-foot-6 to 6 feet tall, who was wearing a white hat with a possible knit visor, black glasses or possible swim goggle, black leggings, black knee-length shorts, a black jacket that zips all the way to the top of the collar and white sneakers with a black strip around the sole. He is believed to be in his 20s.

Suspect two was described as a white male, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-9, with dark hair and a possible dark short beard. He was wearing a black baseball hat with a camouflage “B” on it, a Jason mask from the film “Friday the 13th,” a black jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers with a dark colored outline around the edge of the bottom of the soles. He also is believed to be in his 20s.

Police ask for the public’s help in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information on this robbery or thinks they may know the suspects are asked to call the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office at 753-2599.
