ORONO, Maine — A Newburgh man was injured Wednesday night when the motorcycle he was driving crashed into a pickup driven by an Orono man, an Orono police sergeant said.
The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Kelly Road and Old Kelly Road, when Mark Risinger, 31, who was heading toward Orono, struck a pickup driven by 74-year-old John McDonough, who “basically cut him off,” Sgt. Dan Merrill said.
Risinger was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening. McDonough was treated at the crash scene by Old Town emergency medical personnel and picked up by his wife.
