KNOX – Lewis Fredrick Alley, passed away August 27, 2015, at his residence in Knox. He was born August 22, 1932, in Jonesport, Maine, the 16th of 16 children born to Herbert and Clara Alley.
He was a friend to all, warm and loving, generous and always had a smile. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing the guitar and reading.
Fred was predeceased by his wife, Rita (Corey) Alley; two sons, Gary and Craig Alley; and 15 siblings.
Survivors include his daughter, Robin Johnson and her husband, Bill; his son, Brent Alley; granddaughters, Ashley Jordan and Lacey Lawson; and great-grandsons Adyn and Caelen.
Funeral services were held September 1st with burial at East Knox Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
