LEBANON, Maine — A New Hampshire man was in critical condition after a motorcycle accident in Lebanon early Saturday evening, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Randall Goslin, 40, of Farmington, New Hampshire, was thrown several feet after the motorcycle he was operating struck a utility pole on Route 202 near the Maine-New Hampshire state line just after 7 p.m. Saturday, McCausland said. Goslin landed on the adjacent River Road.

He was taken by air to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Speed and alcohol were considered factors in the crash, McCausland said.

Lebanon Rescue and Fire assisted Maine State Police personnel at the scene.
