LEBANON, Maine — A New Hampshire man has died after crashing his motorcycle Saturday in Maine, according to state police.

Randal Goslin, 40, of Farmington, New Hampshire, crashed his motorcycle into a utility pole along Route 202 near the state line in Lebanon on Saturday night. He later died at Maine Medical Center, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.

Troopers believe speed and alcohol contributed to Goslin’s crash, McCausland said.

This is the 22nd fatal motorcycle crash on Maine roads so far this year. That’s already twice as many fatal crashes as the state saw in 2014.
