PORTLAND, Maine — A South Portland man pled guilty Thursday to a charge of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.
Wayne Niski, 28, is facing between 15 and 30 years in prison and will be sentenced at a later date. He also is facing a $250,000 fine and lifetime supervised release.
Court documents indicate Niski took several sexually explicit photos of an 8-year-old girl in 2013. A search warrant executed at his home in March 2015 turned up a USB flash drive containing the images he had taken two years before.
