DEDHAM, Maine — The Dedham School PTF will hold its first annual Golf Tournament and Family Fun Day Saturday at Traditions Golf Course in Holden.
The fundraiser will include an 18-hole team scramble golf tournament during the day and family activities and food in the afternoon, the organization said in a news release.
The goal of the fundraiser is to raise enough money to buy new athletic team uniforms for Dedham students, who have not had new uniforms in more than a decade. Any excess money will be used to buy sports equipment, organizers said.
Registration for the golf tourney is 8-8:45 a.m., with tee time at 9 a.m. The Family Fun Day runs 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and offers a choice of go-cart riding or mini-golf.
