BRUNSWICK, Maine — A Topsham woman was seriously injured in an accident Monday morning on Bath Road, according to a statement from Brunswick police.

Concettina Miller, 93, suffered serious trauma and was taken to Maine Medical Center after the 7:45 a.m. crash, according to police.

Miller was apparently making a left turn onto Bath Road from Jordan Avenue and pulled into the path of a pickup driven by Shem Johnston-Bloom, 31, of West Bath, police said. Johnston-Bloom did not have any time to react, according to police.

Both vehicles came to rest of in the eastbound lane of Bath Road. Johnston-Bloom was not injured in the accident.

No details on Miller’s condition were available, and the accident remains under investigation.
