BANGOR, Maine — City police are looking for the owner of a lost chicken, Bangor police Sgt. Tim Cotton wrote in a post on the department’s Facebook page.
According to the posting, the chicken is believed to be from the Grandview Avenue area.
The animal was recovered by police last week after being assaulted by an unknown suspect. Cotton said in the post the chicken is being cared for at a small farm and is doing well.
Anyone with information should call the department’s animal control officer, Trish Bruen, at 947-7384.
