SACO, Maine — A city police sergeant is facing a drunken-driving charge, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

Daniel Beaulieu, 41, of Limerick was pulled over shortly after midnight in Arundel on Sept. 5, according to York County Sheriff William King.

Beaulieu was arrested and charged with operating under the influence, and released from York County Jail on an undisclosed amount of personal recognizance bail, King said.

The results of an Intoxilyzer test Beaulieu took were not available. Beaulieu is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 27.
