AUGUSTA, Maine — A Cony High School student has been charged in connection with an alleged bomb threat that occurred at the school Thursday.
The threat was discovered via a handwritten note on school property, Augusta Deputy Chief Jared Mills said.
The school was evacuated for precautionary reasons and a 15-year-old student, whose identity was not disclosed, was identified as a suspect.
The student was charged with terrorizing and released to the custody of parents, Mills said.
