NEW SHARON, Maine — A Hampden man was injured Friday night in an accident on Route 2 in Franklin County, according to the county sheriff.
Troy Francis, 43, had an apparent medical issue which caused him to lose control of his truck shortly after 7 p.m., Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols said.
The crash occurred near the Davis Farm, Nichols said. The truck rolled over and struck trees, but Francis’ injuries were not considered life threatening, the sheriff said.
Francis was transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital and later released.
