WISCASSET, Maine — A Waldoboro man was arrested Friday afternoon after police say he exposed himself to a 51-year-old woman while she checked out at Mad Hatters Smoke Shop.
Michael Hoffman, 39, was charged with indecent conduct, as well as violation of conditions of release, according to a release from the Wiscasset Police Department.
Police arrested Hoffman at the store at 1:45 p.m. Friday after the woman reported the incident to police. Hoffman allegedly admitted exposing himself to the woman, and reportedly told police that his shorts fell down because he wasn’t wearing a belt.
Hoffman is scheduled to appear in Wiscasset District Court on Oct. 29.
