AUBURN, Maine — Firefighters were quickly able to extinguish a garage blaze on Sheridan Avenue on Sunday.
According to a posting on the Auburn Fire Department’s Facebook page, heavy fire was billowing from the garage when crews arrived on scene.
The residence is located above the garage, and firefighters were able to prevent flames from extending into the home, the posting read.
Firefighters got the blaze under control in about a half-hour. Nobody was home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
