WILTON, Maine — A local man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an alleged assault on a girl in February, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Shane Dunn, 24, was arrested without incident and is facing a charge of gross sexual assault against a female under the age of 16, according to Sheriff Scott Nichols.
The call originated from a local school on Sept. 24, and the alleged assault occurred in February, according to Nichols.
Dunn was arrested after being interviewed Tuesday by police. His bail has been set at $25,000 cash and he was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
