SACO, Maine — The Dartmouth Big Green scored three second-half goals to beat the Maine Black Bears 3-0 in women’s soccer action Tuesday night.

Melanie Vangel put Dartmouth on the scoreboard from a Brittany Champagne assist at the 54-minute mark and the Big Green’s second goal came courtesy of a Maine own goal at 79:15.

Jessica Lukas added an assisted goal at 83:12.

Dartmouth outshot Maine 18-7.

Claudia Dube-Trempe finished with eight saves for the Black Bears (5-4-1) while Casey Cousineau made five for the Big Green (7-1-2).

Men’s Soccer

UMFK 5, Husson 0

At Boucher Field in Bangor, Marie-Laurence Montagne scored two of UMaine-Fort Kent’s three first-half goals as the Bengals rolled past the Eagles.

Catherine Bruno scored from about 25 yards out for UMFK’s first goal in the 17th minute and Montagne added the second goal 10 minutes later via a breakaway. She added her second goal five minutes later and Katherine Ferland scored UMFK’s fourth goal four minutes into the second half when she converted an Emma Ashby assist. Kayla Richards scored off a penalty kick for the final goal.

Peighton Alhlberg made one save for UMFK (11-2) and Kayla Gordon finished with 19 for Husson (3-5-1).

Field Hockey

Wellesley 3, St. Joseph’s 1

At Wellesley, Massachusetts, Rachel Hwang, Hannah Flesch and Anissa Sridhar each scored a first-half goal to spark the Wellesley victory.

Michalia Parent scored at the 48-18 mark for St. Joe’s (6-2) and Megan Baker finished with nine saves.

Maggie Connelly and Lucy Hurlock each had four saves for Wellesley (8-0).
