BETHEL, Maine — The Bethel Animal Hospital says a puppy was brought to them by an animal control officer with its mouth taped shut.
According to the hospital, the dog was picked up by an animal control officer in Newry Friday morning.
On their Facebook page, the hospital says “he is still a puppy, and despite the horrible way humans have treated him, he is wagging his tail and licking us.”
Bethel Animal Hospital says they are doing anything they can to care for his needs.
