BOOTHBAY HARBOR, Maine — The body of a 25-year-old man was discovered in the inner harbor near Boothbay Harbor’s footbridge Saturday morning, The Boothbay Register reported.
Boothbay Harbor police Chief Bob Hasch told the Register that police were called at 9 a.m. to the scene, and officers and firefighters then retrieved the body.
The man’s name had not been released Sunday morning.
Police were able to track his movements overnight Friday and found no evidence of foul play, according to the report.
Hasch did not immediately return a phone call Sunday morning.
