WISCASSET, Maine — Veteran racer and multi-time points champion Scott Chubbuck of Bowdoin demonstrated his considerable experience by winning the 30-lap Pro Stock feature amidst Wiscasset Speedway’s Fall Fury program on Saturday night.
Chubbuck started on the pole but had to hold off challenges from Nate Tribbet of Richmond, James Osmond of Wiscasset and Mike Orr of Wiscasset to claim the checkered flag.
Tribbet took second, followed by Osmond, Andy Saunders of Ellsworth and Orr.

WINTERPORT — Mike Williams of Westbrook outdueled Hodgdon’s Grady Tidd on Sunday to win the Super Pro/Pro Final at Winterport Dragway.
Randy Therrien of Unity, Paul Henckel of Old Orchard Beach and Turner’s Jennifer Fusco were semifinalists in the Super Pro Eliminator. Tidd and Randy Terrien of Unity finished 1-2 in the Super Pro Eliminator race, while Jon Canty of West Gardiner finished second behind Williams in the Pro Eliminator and Dwight Overlock of Owls Head was a semifinalist.
