AUGUSTA, Maine — The Katz building at the University of Maine at Augusta has been evacuated because of an alleged bomb threat, according to Augusta police.

Augusta police Sgt. Danny Boivin had limited details Thursday afternoon, but he confirmed police were heading to campus to investigate.

The school announced on its Facebook page all classes for the remainder of the day have been cancelled.
