PORTLAND, Maine — Police on Thursday released images of a getaway vehicle allegedly connected to a robbery of TD Bank on Congress Street last weekend.
The vehicle, a dark-colored Sedan, possibly a Pontiac, was parked in front of Shaw’s in the same plaza as the bank, according to a statement from police.
The suspect got in the passenger side and was driven away by another individual, police said.
The alleged robber is a white man in his 40s or 50s, is between 5 foot 9 inches tall and 5 foot 11 inches tall, and weighs 160 to 170 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, tan work boots and a red hooded rain jacket, while his face was covered by a white scarf with yellow, red and orange stripes.
The man allegedly threatened tellers with a gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
