VEAZIE, Maine — A Brewer man was killed Wednesday night in a single-car crash on Interstate 95, according to the Department of Public Safety.

Kendall Gordon Jr., 50, was traveling north when he lost control of his Mitsubishi around Mile 189 at 11 p.m., according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Department of Public Safety.

Gordon’s car left the road, struck a tree in the median and overturned at least once, McCausland said. Gordon was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say speed was a likely factor in the crash.
