BATH, Maine — A Wiscasset man is facing a drug charge after a traffic stop turned up heroin last weekend, according to Bath police.

James Ezzell, 34, is accused of unlawful trafficking in heroin, a Class B felony, according to a statement from police.

Ezzell had been pulled over for a minor traffic violation on Route 1 and approximately 6 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia and packaging material were found in his vehicle, according to the statement. In addition, more than $3,000 in suspected drug cash was found.

Ezzell was transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail and bail was set at $5,000.
