BANGOR, Maine — Bangor police have found the owner of a lost dog that was discovered by Public Works employees on Monday morning.
According to a posting on the Bangor Police Department’s Facebook page, the dog, named George, was safe and taken to the Bangor Humane Society.
Police later reported that George’s owner has been located. The owner’s identity was not disclosed.
