BANGOR, Maine — Emera Maine crews spread out statewide Friday working to restore services to thousands of customers without electricity.

According to an Emera Maine statement, more than 3,300 customers are without power because of high winds knocking down tree limbs.

Outages are scattered as far east as Milbridge and Brookline, west to Garland and Exeter and as far north as Fort Kent.

Crews hope to have customers back online Friday afternoon.
