RANDOLPH, Maine — Maine State Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man who robbed a Camden National Bank branch on Saturday afternoon.

Maine State Police were called at 1:47 p.m. to alert them of a robbery at the bank located in the Goggins IGA store.

The suspect was described as a white male, dressed in a dark jacket with a baseball cap, hood, and sunglasses.

The man produced a note demanding money and that he was in possession of a gun although a weapon was not displayed. The man left with money and was last seen getting into a white four-door vehicle heading toward Gardiner on Water Street.

None of the bank employees was harmed during the robbery.

Deputies from the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene along with Gardiner Police and the Maine Forest Service.
