PORTLAND, Maine — A hit-and-run in Portland on Saturday sent a pedestrian to a local hospital.
An older-model red Chevy pick-up truck struck the pedestrian at the intersection of Presumpscot and Providence streets around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
The driver of the truck left the scene, police said.
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and was transported to Maine Medical Center.
Police continue to look for the driver of truck, who was described as a white woman with blonde hair.
